Matthew J. Cary

Matt has 50 years of experience in government relations, lobbying, marketing/sales, and 20 years in veteran advocacy. He initiated several new programs for DC Veterans and their families during his tenure as State Director of the District of Columbia Office of Veterans Affairs. He was recently appointed as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, a nonprofit organization that assists Iraq and Afghanistan disabled veterans with their transition to civilian life.

Matt is a U.S. Army Reserve veteran with extensive experience in government relations, lobbying, and marketing/sales. He served as the Volunteer Executive Director/Founding President of Veterans & Military Families for Progress (VMFP), initiated several programs for DC veterans, and served as State Director of the District of Columbia Office of Veterans Affairs. He also held various executive positions, including President and CEO of his own Government Relations and International Marketing consulting firm.

Matt has a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a BA Degree in Social Science, and serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations, including Veterans and Military Families for Progress and Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes.

John Kimmet

Strategic Board Advisor Analytics, Operations & Strategy.

John had served as the Former EVP of Oncology & Acute Care Marketing at Eagle Pharmaceuticals and Chairman of Acacia Pharma. He joined Eagle in August of 2020 with a track record of results-driven performance based on a strong strategic decision making and analytical skill set. He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in both commercial and operational functions. Prior to joining Eagle, he held an executive role at Celgene / Bristol Myers Squibb as the Head of Strategic Planning and Decision Analysis.

Between Verizon and Vodafone, John spent 17 years in the telecommunications industry. He held various positions with increasing responsibility in Marketing, Analytics, and Operations.

Valuing education, John holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from NYU’s Stern School of Business, a Global Executive MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and has completed programs at Columbia Business School, and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Jason Wallace

Jason spent the last two decades in the aerospace and defense industry as a critical part of the leadership team at ADS, Inc., a military equipment and tactical gear contractor. During his time with the $3.5B firm, he held multiple executive leadership positions and led the company’s unprecedented growth while he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Under Jason’s leadership, ADS Inc. achieved its highest levels of revenue, headcount, and profitability.

Prior to his time at ADS, Jason held the role of Vice President of Sales and Operations for Sunbelt Rentals, a heavy equipment provider. He was also a founding member of the Tidewater Horns, a youth baseball organization in South-eastern Virginia, and has served as both a coach and as part of the Board of Directors for the last 10 years.

Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

He was recognized as part of the Virginia500’s Power List from Virginia Business Magazine in 2021 for being one of the most influential business leaders in the state.

Greg is the Managing Member of Rockland Consulting, LLC, a firm he founded in 2004. Prior to starting Rockland Consulting, Greg worked as a registered representative and investment banker, providing financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. 

In addition to consulting for various companies, Greg also ventured into land development, helping clients with real estate transactions such as acquisition and development, financing, and sale. 

Before entering the financial industry, Greg attended McDaniel College and Old Dominion University, where he was a NCAA Division I wrestler.
