He was recently appointed as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, a nonprofit organization that assists Iraq and Afghanistan disabled veterans with their transition to civilian life.
Matt is a U.S. Army Reserve veteran with extensive experience in government relations, lobbying, and marketing/sales. He served as the Volunteer Executive Director/Founding President of Veterans & Military Families for Progress (VMFP), initiated several programs for DC veterans, and served as State Director of the District of Columbia Office of Veterans Affairs.
